Won an All State Drama Festival Award for Best Set Design. Researched, made renderings, and built set for this original, student written show. These designs corresponded with the underlying message of the show. Pandora’s Black Box is about human-like robots in the1950’s who believe they are real people but are actually living in a warehouse.The cardboard boxes symbolize the structure that the robots used to create a fake world that they perceive as real.The intent was to showcase how the robots are like children using their imaginations to build their lives when in reality the viewer can see that it is just a warehouse.
